Your new digital logbook consists of many differnt kinds of "items". You can see each one of them in the list under this "LOGBOOK" entry in the list at left. Just click on the name of the item to see the list of entries you have created so far. If you have a licensed version, you will also be able to Edit your items. Just select the item you want in the list, and then click the "Edit" button to enter editing mode. For each kind of item, you can also create a new one, duplicate an existing one, or delete one using the "action" menu found in the toolbar area next to the Edit button. If if you have an item selected in the list, you just need to click on the action menu for "New", "Copy", or "Delete". The main Edit Menu also contains these menu selections and the associated keyboard shortcuts for "Edit", "New", "Duplicate" and "Delete".

Dives - This is the main table for your logbook where you list each of your logbook dives as well as the details about that dive. In here, you will reference almost all of the other tables below.
Buddies - This is the list of Buddies that you have ever dove with. You can enter contact information for each of them as well as a photo. If you have a licensed version, you can look up their information in your Address Book.
Locations - Locations consist of 3 different items: Site, City, and Country. You can enter GPS information for a site so that you can see it on a map. The City/Boat will keep track of dives you did in a particular area, and Country for the Country the site is located in. Each one can have a photo to remember it by. (Many people use the flag for the Country photo. These are available several places on the web and can be "dragged" into the photo area of Dive Log Manager/DT).
Dive Types - Each of your dives can have many different "properties" which we call dive types. You can add as many different types as you want and also re-order them based on how often you use them, or how important they are to you.
Equipment - Diving is an equipment itensive sport! Enter each piece of equipment you use and information about it including a photo. This could also be any photographic or video equipment or anything that goes underwater. If you indicate you used it on a dive, you can keep track of it's usage. You can also indicate that it is no longer "active" if you sell it or don't use it anymore so that you don't see it in the list but don't have to delete it from your older dives.
Personal - This is information about you, as well as a list of your certifications. You can take a picture of the front and back of your certification card so that you always have the information with you.
Shops - You dive with many different shops and organizations and can see their contact information here. If you have a licensed version, you can look up their "company" information in your Address Book.
Trips - Here is where you can keep track of the dates of your trip, as well as the dives that you did on the trip.
Statistics - Here you can request statistical information about what is currently in your logbook
